A WORD FROM THE PRODUCER

PRIOR oils are produced in our blending factory in Holland which is one of the larger blenders in Europe with a rich history of more than one hundred years. The Company has its seat in the surroundings of Rotterdam. The filling capacity is more than 80,000 tons a year. Our ingredients come from the well-known base oils and additive suppliers and meet all the requirements of leading OEM’s.

All processes in our factory are carried out according to procedures as stipulated in the ISO 9001(2008)-manual and care for the environment is guaranteed by the ISO 14001:2004-certificate. Through OHSAS 18001 our factory meets the international requirements for safety management; occupational risks are managed effectively and are continuously improved. This means that our policy is aimed at meeting our customers' requirements as much as possible, without losing sight of aspects like security, health and environment. Throughout the production process quality assurance takes place through laboratory testing. This process begins with the supplied raw materials and subsequently to blending, filling department and then to the expedition. Of course also all bulk cargoes are checked. With nothing left to chance, we can always assure that we supply a PRIOR product of consistently high quality, in accordance with international standards

TECHNOLOGY

PRIOR produces modern, high-performance lubricants with up-to-date specifications and formulated by using only the world’s finest base oils and advanced additives.

Our factory has the ISO-9001:2008 and ISO-14001:2004 certificate and never loses sight of security, health and environment. All outgoing lubricants are monitored under supervision of the QHSE manager and the manager Operations whereas the laboratory is responsible for quality clearance of initially blocked production batches.

FUNCTIONS OF OIL

Lubricating oil is an indispensable element for the engine to function correctly. It’s impossible to imagine an engine without a fluid lubricating its moving parts.

Inside the engine, the oil circulates through an intricate system to reach not only the pistons, but also the crankshaft, camshaft, and even the turbocharger, if there is one.
